On February 28, 2001, Beth and Brad received devastating news. While in Texas with his trainer, Webster passed away. He died from blood clots in his lungs from an unknown cause. He died in his sleep, with no pain. Beth and Brad will always mourn the loss of their wonderful Webster. This page will be a tribute to his memory and to his offspring. As fate would have it, Webster sired a litter of 13 puppies earlier in February. Beth and Brad had decided to take a Webster pup just two weeks before Webster's death. FC Smith's Blew By You, MH
FC Smith's Blew By You , MH (Webster) is an excellent marker with lots of drive and great trainability. He is handsome and has a wonderful personality. Webster is as comfortable at home on the couch as he is in the duck blind or at the line. He has proven to be a marvelous pheasant, duck and goose hunter and he gets to use these skills every season. He is handsome, nicely built, a pleasure to be around. Webster is also yellow-factored.
Webster's Second Place Ribbon on September 24 finished his Field Champion Title and qualified him for the 2000 National! Beth and Brad will be there to watch Web and Bill Eckett compete. |
