Our
goal is to produce Labradors with classic good looks, physical soundness
and the wonderful temperament Labradors are famous for. All of our dogs
earn Hunt Test (AKC) titles, are hunted and enjoy house time as our
companions.
Since 1985, Meredith has earned seven Companion Dog (CD) obedience titles, one Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title, twelve Junior Hunter (JH) titles, five Senior Hunter (SH) titles and two Master Hunter (MH) titles with her dogs. In 2022 we started running Hunting Retriever Club (HRC) events and earned an HRC Seasoned (equivalent to AKC SH) title on our Daisy and in 2023 earned an HRC Started title on Etta. We also got our first HRC Finished pass (equivalent to AKC Master) with Daisy in 2023.
Many other Critter Creek dogs have earned titles with their owners as well.
All of our dogs are cleared of hip and elbow dysplasia,
have annual adult eye exams (by a certified canine ophthalmologist) and are tested for carrier
status of EIC and CNM. All of our dogs are free of the dilute gene and free of the PRA and RD/OSD genes.
